The Pinellas Tax Collector website has a new look, a new address

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — Pinellas County tax collector Charles W. Thomas launched a new website this week. Not only does it have a new look, but also a new address.

The modern makeover provides an updated customer experience through easy navigation, various self-service options, and a wealth of information that educates the public on the various services offered by the tax collection office.

The website aims to educate new and existing residents of Pinellas on property taxes, driver’s licenses and motor vehicle requirements in a simple and streamlined way.

The site also features a new virtual service center where customers can pay property taxes, renew their license and registration, hand in a license plate and more. The online service center also guides customers to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle (FLHSMV) MyDMV portal, which offers additional online services related to driver’s licenses and registrations.

“Our new and improved website is user-friendly and offers our customers many convenient ways to transact online,” said Thomas. “This update supports our vision of customer-focused excellence, and I’m thrilled that our residents are starting to use the transition to a .gov domain also adds an extra layer of security for the organization and allows our customers to know that they are on a real government website.

Visitors to the new site will also find information about tax collectors’ offices career opportunities, community engagement and other updates from the offices.
